Kitch is kewl!
We took the kids to the City Museum today downtown. I’m ashamed to report that being a native Missourian (is that a word?) I have NEVER been to this fabulous place. I really think that my hubby and I enjoyed it more than the kids.
Oh, don’t get me wrong, there was plenty for them to do, fabulous slides (one reminded me of the bottle return that they used to have at the old IGA grocery stores, as a child I can remember rubbing my hands back and forth on those cool little tubes and the sound, that is something you don’t forget) anyway, the slide was fully made of these metal tubes. My girls LOVED it, my son, not so much.
They also had a slide that was the full length of the place, 4 stories high. The girls made magic wands, a clay sculpture, all three painted a picture and the girls got their face painted. The only thing that we did wrong is not go to their cool outside exhibit FIRST. By the time we made it there, they had closed it due to rain.
I was sad… it looks to be VERY cool. The whole place is just amazing. What I wouldn’t give to take a client there and shoot some photos. Talk about FAb…..
Anyway, we had fun. Here’s a few pics from the day. Enjoy.

The cool green couch was outside across the street. Someone was throwing it away. Of course I couldn’t get my kids to sit on it, what a great photo op… BLAH on my kids.
