Random thoughts

It’s 1051pm and I need to go to bed, I have to get up with kids in the morning

It’s so cold in this house and it’s only October

What am I going to do with the kids for Halloween, no costumes, don’t have enough white sheets, what to do?

Oh, maybe I can dress Jack up in his sister’s dress… CHECK one off of the list

I have homework to do yet here I sit Flickr’ing and typing on my blog

Portrait Party

Ever wonder what it was or is?

Well, why not host one… you get awesome incentives JUST for hosting, then you also get rewards for orders that the guests make after they view their proofs. Basically, you gather 8-10 mom friends, they bring their kiddos dressed in their best, you serve snacks and we take photos. I schedule them in 20 minute slots. They have exactly that, 20 minutes… I take as many photos as I can. (kind of like a marathon) The guests pay no session fee, aproximately two weeks after the party they will be able to view their proofs and order. A great way to get portraits, have fun and chat.

We can do it inside or out, right now, a park or a beautiful yard is the best place, it’s so nice out and we should enjoy the fresh air while we can, but if you have good available light, we can do it in your home as well. Email me if you’re interested. emily@emilymphotography.com
